​I do not teach from theory alone.​  Everything I share has been lived, practiced, questioned, and embodied through decades of personal inquiry, teaching, and healing work. My role is not to fix you, but to walk beside you—to listen deeply, reflect honestly, and support you in reconnecting with your own inner wisdom.

The Gift Of A Sensitive Heart


Growing up, I was deeply sensitive, often absorbing the pain of those around me. For a long time, I saw this as a flaw. However, through my lifelong quest for meaning and my study of the Enneagram, I realized that my heightened sensitivity is my greatest strength. It allows me to hold space for others and understand the depth of human experience without turning away. Healing unfolds when we feel safe enough to be seen. 

A Lifetime of Practice & Mastery

My path is rooted in a lifetime of inquiry. Before I began my career as a teacher, I spent years immersed in the spiritual landscape of Chiang Mai, Thailand, grounding myself in the disciplines of Vipassana meditation and Yoga. Today, my work is informed by over 40 years of embodied personal practice—a foundational deep-dive into the nature of the mind and body.

For over 35 years, I have served as a "teacher of teachers," training instructors across Thailand, appearing on national television, and authoring nine books. For 9 years, I also ran a home-stay retreat in the Valley of the Mountain in Chiang Rai, which deepened my understanding of how to create transformative healing spaces.

Creating Programs for Transformation

From this insight, I helped create a mindfulness program at The International Mindfulness Recovery Center in Thailand, integrating mindfulness, yoga, and the Enneagram to support deep psychological insight and sustainable change. Over the years, these programs became sanctuaries for people from more than 20 countries, often described as life-changing turning points.

At the heart of this work is a simple truth: we do not heal in isolation. Healing unfolds when we return to wholeness—within ourselves, with others, and in relationship with nature. Rooted in ancient Thai traditions and informed by modern clinical precision, I hold a space of deep safety where your whole, complex self can be heard, understood, and gently supported toward liberation.

A Journey: From Eastern Roots to Western Clinical Science

  • Pioneering in Thailand (The Foundation): Established the Mindfulness-Based Recovery Center in Chiang Mai. I led a global community through international retreats and appeared on national TV, training the first generation of mindfulness yoga teachers in Thailand.
     

  • Authoring Wisdom:
    Published seven books in Thai and two in English—Peaceful Mind, Awakened Life, and The Enneagram of Mindfulness—distilling decades of practice into practical guides for modern life.

    Upon moving to Philadelphia, United States, I sought to bridge my Eastern mastery with Western science. I earned my MBSR Certification from the Penn Mindfulness Program at Penn Medicine.
